Senior Director Digital Paid Organic Search Comcast Philadelphia

Job Description:
The successful candidate will be a seasoned digital marketing executive who is best in class in terms of customer acquisition. This individual will have a track record of successfully managing massive, multi-million dollar SEM programs which are holistically optimized with SEO. This individual will have deep understanding of customer lifetime value, recurring revenue and subscription-based business models. S/he will also need to be nimble, creative and influential to evolve and push the business forward. The ideal candidate will have experience in roles combining marketing, customer insights, data analysis and business execution in a digital environment. Additionally, this person will need to be a strong leader for both their direct reports as well as the indirect to the cross-functional team
Duties And Responsibilities

Optimize the search engine results page (SERP) holistically across SEM & SEO
Identify new opportunities and providing recommendations for improving organic search rankings, traffic and conversions to our agency regarding on-page optimizations (metadata, keyword usage, internal linking, etc.) and offsite initiatives (link building, social media projects, etc.)
Develop insights from data generated from analytics and bid management platforms, in order to generate innovative strategies that can be leveraged within our expansive budget
Set compelling long-term acquisition goals while delivering positive growth in the short term.
Translates the vision of the organization into actionable, quantitative plans by running a multi-million dollar budget to ensure KPIs are achieved (acquisition, revenue, lifetime value, etc)
Own relationship with paid search vendor to advise on business goals and campaign objectives.
Leading special cross-channel projects with high visibility and exposure with minimal project definition.
Serves as the department liaison and Subject Matter Expert to Engineering to division marketing and media teams
Manage team of search specialists

Knowledge Experience/Ability

Proven search marketer who can combine data analytics and business knowledge to drive results.
In-depth functional understanding of major search engine algorithms; agency experience required
Track record in developing digital acquisition strategies to drive traffic and conversion
Has sophisticated ability to assess disparate data streams and distill them into meaningful and, ultimately, actionable strategic recommendations
Experience with digital campaign metrics: must feel comfortable learning new systems and tools. Experience with search platforms (ex. Marin) and analytics tools (ex. Omniture) a plus.
Ability to handle multiple projects and to prioritize as needed in a fast moving environment
Seasoned leader with demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with business leaders, team members, and cross-functional partners
Well-honed influencing skills and ability to persuade minds and get things done across a large, complex organization. Courage to confidently express an independent point of view.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in marketing/advertising, statistics, mathematics, business, or related field, Masters degree a plus
Search management or programmatic media purchasing background with agency experience required
Must have a proven track record in data-rich analyses, and be a team player, responsive and business savvy
A self-starter who conveys a sense of urgency, drives issues to closure, and gets things done
Knowledge of web measurement technologies such as: ad serving platforms (e.g., DART, Atlas), website analytics software (e.g., Omniture, Google Analytics), paid search engine marketing data sources (e.g., Google, Overture/Yahoo, Marin) a plus
Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills
Excellent listening and cognitive skills and the ability to influence, shape and drive dialogue by building "buy-in" across the organization on topics relevant to the consumer, the market and business strategy
Strong project management, presentation, and communication skills
