ShareThis was named by Inc magazine as one of the fastest growing private companies, and we are seeking a business development executive to join our team by identifying and working with partners in the industry. Responsibilities of the role include:
Prospecting and identifying data partners for ShareThis, and moving them through the business development funnel to close
Interfacing with prospective partners, our product team and engineers to identify optimal solutions for them, including features and functionality, and crafting contract terms, including pricing negotiation.
Ability to have strategic conversations with prospective partners by identifying their unique needs and how they fit into ShareThis offerings, with a strong ability to bring external customer feedback back to our product and engineering teams for product development and iteration
A lean startup mentality and ability to execute effectively in fast-moving small team environments
Desired Skills and Experience
At least 5 years of partnership, business development or sales experience, preferably working with large data sets at scale
Deep experience in de-coupled data world. Candidate ideally has a background having done the following:
Working with DMPs, DSPs, specifically within data
Pushing & optimizing data through these platforms
Working with large brands identifying and servicing de-coupled data needs
Has a strong set of programmatic and data industry contacts
Enjoys customer outreach and naturally wants to spend time engaging with (and following up with) prospective data buyers
A history of working effectively with product teams
Preferred:
Experience working in smaller companies (ideally in startups)
Experience running a sales funnel
Experience successfully executing against a revenue quota
Technical background, or understands the technical ecosystem: Amazon S3 keys & buckets, JSON schemas, API feeds, data formatting & parsing
