We are looking for a Director of Engineering to provide global R&D leadership, vision and guidance to an engineering team having the mission to create profitable, differentiated solutions for a key offer portfolio of Schneider Electric. The primary role of the person filling the position is to collaborate with business leadership to develop the vision for new and emerging solution needs, while strategically evolving the team skill needed to creatively and diligently execute the offer creation roadmap.
Candidates considered for this role will possess a BSEE and MSEE. An MBA would be an advantage. Your previous experience will include roles within multinational companies, including experience managing an R&D team of at least 45 people and interfacing with Product Management / Marketing. You will have previous experience working as a product project manager and as a design engineer. Management experience should include at least 2 years experience managing off site resources.
The R&D Director will be an open communicator with an out-going personality and a high motivation to deliver. You will present a strong command of the English language, both written and verbally.
