Job Description:
We are looking for an exceptional leader who knows how to launch groundbreaking cloud-based software products for businesses. You are an absolute thought leader. You are full of insatiable intellectual curiosity. You are an inspiring communicator.
The Director of Product Marketing will own product marketing strategy and execution for Magnetic’s entire product portfolio. You will lead all market research, product messaging, positioning, product launches, content, and more. You will work closely with our executive team, Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Corporate Marketing, and Client Success teams in order to drive market share and customer delight. You’ll get to build a team of A players who “bring it” every day.
We believe in your ability to succeed at the following:
Own and manage the go-to-market for our products, including the product release process, content, training, and customer outreach
Develop and communicate crisp value propositions and superior competitive positioning
Package product education, communication and sales enablement tools with key releases
Conduct in-depth market research, gain customer feedback and gather competitive insights to help product teams achieve a strong product/market fit
Partner with the PR, Lead Gen, and MarCom teams to build and implement a thought leadership plan
Develop product collateral, including white papers, one-sheets, videos, and case studies
Serve as a company spokesperson at industry events, customers, and media outlets.
What we’d want to attract in candidates for this role:

5+ years of software product marketing experience at a well-known SaaS company (ideally at an agile company that ships products every month)
Marketing automation and B2B enterprise experience are strongly preferred
Track record of successfully launching and marketing complex technical products
Creative flair to bring fresh ideas into product positioning and marketing campaign
Ability to influence various internal and external stakeholders
Preference for writing simple, direct, to-the-point content that resonates with your audience
Experienced communicator to C-level execs, confidence, eloquence, gravitas
Prior experience at a startup working in a hyper-growth environment
Passionate about marketing technology!
MBA strongly preferred
