Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Director of International Air and Missile Defense/C4I. This position will be located in Huntsville, Alabama and require up to 50% of international travel.
In this position, the selected candidate will be responsible for the following:
International business development, capture and program management of Integrated Air and Missile defense / C4I systems and programs.
Lead a team of cross-sector Northrop Grumman employees and International Partners in the development, testing, integration, deployment, and sustainment of Integrated Air and Missile Defense C4I systems.
Resolve competing demands related to program scope, time, cost, customer satisfaction, and quality, and will ensure compliance with organizational processes and procedures for legal/contractual/proposal requirements.
Keep Northrop Grumman management apprised of program status, customer satisfaction and risks that might affect program performance, and managing the applicable resources to ensure team success.
Desired Skills and Experience
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 15-20 years of related experience.
Project and program management experience with C4I systems.
Strategic planning, capture and business development experience.
Knowledge in the Department of Defense acquisition process, export, and policy governing sales of defense equipment internationally.
Experience leading and managing geographically distributed programs and teams.
Experience in program planning, budget development and execution; contracting, workforce staffing, risk management, and the implementation of project processes and controls.
Must possess an active Secret Clearance; Ability to also obtain a Top Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
International capture and program management experience.
Knowledge and operational experience with Integrated Air and Missile Defense systems.
Program Management including managing a budget and schedule.
Strategy development.
Experience with Missile Defense Agency and Army customers.
Experience with missile defense, space, high altitude, lasers, and cyber.
Advanced degree preferred.
