Job Description:
You will be part of the Internet of Things innovation strategies within core hardware engineering. You will provide leadership in the networking engineering strategy and development across key verticals including discrete manufacturing, oil and gas, mining, transportation, rail, automotive, military, and embedded markets. Additionally, lead the IoT group’s offshore development partnerships, drive the Agile software process adoption, and serve as key liaison to central software and marketing teams.
Lead a Top-notch Engineering Team To
• Architect, design, deliver and support product and extensions to the growing needs of Cisco's service providers and Web/OTT customers
• Deliver high-quality engineering innovation, look for ways to improve efficiency and optimization in the processes, systems and solutions
• Deliver products and solutions with a clear competitive differentiation and value to Cisco's customers and their business models
• Work closely with related engineering and marketing teams at various stages of product development
• Develop challenging portions of software independently and rapidly with a focus on quality in an Agile environment (????)
Minimum Qualifications
• IoT management experience
• Experience in leading and transforming big 100+ people organization for business needs
• Experience in building top-notch teams for innovation and delivery of products and solutions to customers
• B.S. in electrical engineering
• Relevant industry experience with routers and switches
• Experience with project management
Desired Skills
• MBA at an accredited college/university
