This position will be responsible for the development and execution of Neustar’s infrastructure strategy to support the company’s revenue generating services and internal enterprise services. The incumbent is this role will develop and maintain the roadmaps for data centers and co-lo’s, global and enterprise networks, telecom, compute/storage platforms, and be responsible for the delivery and operations of infrastructure services and meet or exceed defined service levels of reliability and delivery.
Collaborate with product marketing, engineering teams, and the Architecture team to gather infrastructure performance and availability requirements and SLA’s
Develop and maintain technology standards for compute, network and storage platforms.
Develop and Manage Leaders of teams that provides engineering and 24x7 operations services for
Data centers and co-lo’s
Global, enterprise and telecom networks
Compute and storage platforms.
Develop, collect and report KPI’s and SLAs for Infrastructure quality and delivery
Develop and share infrastructure roadmaps with product, engineering, finance and procurement teams
Measure and track against industry benchmarks and standards
Engage in service improvement and cost efficiency projects, often requiring reaching out to a variety of support teams, and drive them from conception to completion
Manage budgeting & forecasting, planning, deployment globally
Coordinates daily with a multitude of third party vendors ensuring adherence to contracted SLAs

Experience managing data centers and co-locations including understanding of the electrical and mechanical systems involved in critical data center operations including systems such as electrical feeders, transformers, fire suppression, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, ATS units, PDU units, pumps, air handling units, and CRAC units

Colocation assessment expertise and experience (e.g. Uptime institute)
Business continuity expertise and experience
Experience managing Infrastructure Services globally
Experience in architecture, design and operations of a global shared services network
Experience in the design and delivery of IaaS / private and hybrid clouds
Multi Public Cloud governance and Operations knowledge and experience is critical
Experience in managing Public Cloud Operations
Develop and Manage teams and leaders of 24x7 engineering and operations technicians in all facets of their career
Must be well versed with innovations and development in the market place with regard to Infrastructure Services, Cloud computing, and Big Data
Must have had operational responsibilities with SLAs and OLAs at large enterprise ideally in a Shared Services model supporting multiple lines of business
Must be familiar with tools and technologies used for managing operations
Must have prior proven experience in run rate reduction, expense management and cost recovery of one or more infrastructure products/services
Demonstrated use of metrics to measure success or improvements in areas of responsibility.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors).
Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, team and time management skills.
Proven project management abilities.
Demonstrate a propensity to act.
Strongly prefer ITIL, Scrum Master & Agile aware or certification
Strongly prefer experience and knowledge in newer technologies such as future direction of network and security virtualization & software defined networks.
