Job Description:
Iowa Speedway seeks a talented professional to join our team as Senior Director, Corporate Sales based in our Iowa Speedway office.
Responsible for the leadership and management of all corporate sales activities at Iowa Speedway, including sponsorships, advertising, hospitality, and group tickets. This role will lead a corporate sales team of two (2), and work collaboratively with the Marketing and Operations teams to grow and maintain partnerships. This role will be responsible for streamlining the sales process, which includes the development and maintenance of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM program.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include

Leads the Corporate Sales team in selling motorsports event sponsorships, advertising assets, hospitality and ticket packages, and facility rentals.

Plans the annual sales strategy and leads the development of prospects for sponsorship, advertising, hospitality and group ticketing sales.

Identifies and leads the development of packages for sponsorship, advertising, hospitality and group ticketing sales.

Leads the development of sales collateral and proposals for sponsorship, advertising, hospitality and group ticketing sales.

Manages the merchandising of Iowa Speedway intellectual property, including official rights, promotional rights, exclusivities, etc.

Develops and manages the Microsoft Dynamics Customer Relationship Management program.

Coordinates all plans, strategies and actions with Iowa Speedway Sales, and collaborates to fulfill sales obligations while developing new programs and assets for sales efforts.

Required Skills/Experience

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and a minimum of 10 to 12 years related experience in Sales, Business Development, Marketing or related fields; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The leader of Iowa Speedway Corporate Sales must be a business-minded strategic thinker adept at bringing various parties together to achieve common sales goals. The successful candidate will be someone who is naturally collaborative with a proven ability to create and execute strategy working with an internal team and leaders at other organizations.

This leader will have excellent written and oral communication skills and be equally comfortable ‘in the garage’ and a boardroom. This leader must be highly organized, creative, trustworthy, resourceful, and have the unquestioned ability to process information quickly, make decisions and move to action in a high-paced environment. He or she must have the ability to work with colleagues with diverse backgrounds, including individuals and organizations from outside of the U.S.
