Job Description:
This position is responsible for leading the Storage Program Management and team for Dell.
Specifically, the role will be responsible for leading the worldwide management and execution of cross-functional Storage programs utilizing Dell’s phase development process (OLP). This includes leading a program management team responsible for the appropriate definition, planning, development, and launch of assigned server products through
the management of a cross-functional core team. Additional responsibilities include managing the level of revenue
risk associated with the new product life cycle while managing portions of the existing portfolio and ongoing revenue
generation. This includes shaping the product delivery roadmap and developing program goals that support the overall
business objectives
Responsibilities
Direct management of the Storage global Program Management Team.
Ensure the appropriate definition, planning, development, and launch of server programs; govern application of Dell’s
phased development process (OLP) and ensure the launch of cost/ feature competitive server products with high quality
Provide oversight to storage development programs/core teams ensuring continued alignment to established functional
plans, schedule/ feature commitments, cost targets, and quality levels
Ensure appropriate resource staffing and coverage across assigned programs; maintain team staffing levels, recruiting
when necessary.
Drive appropriate closure of customer/ sales issues working with product support, marketing, sales, and development to
ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction
Provide mentorship, continuous improvement, and ensure team members effectively lead their teams
