Director Microsoft North America Ingram Micro Cloud Buffalo

Job Description:
The Director, Microsoft North America will lead a cross functional team of sales, technical, and vendor management professionals and be responsible for development and execution of the Microsoft go to market strategy to achieve financial goals. This position is based in Buffalo, NY.

A BA or additional relevant experience in a related field (MBA strongly preferred)
A minimum of 10 years of IT channel experience
8+ years of progressively responsible experience in sales, marketing, business development, with strong leadership experience
8+ years of first and second level management experience driving true P&L cost centers
5+ years of cloud computing experience preferred
5+ years in management position with international experience, and proven ability to manage successful across various cultures, time zones, etc.
Proven experience in financial planning and analysis
Experience in go to market execution supporting Microsoft or other software/SaaS companies
Strong knowledge of IT professional and managed services
Understanding of channel business models including value added resellers, managed service providers, telecom, hosters, system integrators, and ISV’s
Ability to operate in a fast-paced start-up environment
Experience working with cross functional roles such as product management, customer support, and service delivery
Understanding of Ingram Micro's core competencies and resources
Extensive experience in developing customer and vendor relationships
Exceptional skills in building and inspiring innovative and agile teams of leaders
Proven skills to manage large business in matrixed organizations
Problem solving skills, conceptual and analytical skills with a proven ability to turn findings into executable plans
Excellent oral, written, listening and formal presentation skills including ability to communicate and sell ideas
An ability to influence across large organizations at multiple levels
Executive presence
Demonstrated initiative to work independently and with teams interchangeably.
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
