Job Description:
The role of the Director, Global Communications is to drive the overall effectiveness, professionalism and success of OMD’s global communications both internally and externally. Successful candidate is responsible for ensuring smooth process flow, internal communication and execution excellence on all assignments.

In addition, the position encompasses the following duties:

Internal/External Communications
Social Networking & Content Marketing strategy
Copywriting of OMD marketing materials
Support for public relations globally
Development of event themes and programming
Be able to distinguish between good and inappropriate writing
Conduct research and compile information for required projects
Work independently on assigned projects in a fluid and unstructured environment
Be able to write and teach others how to strengthen their content development globally
Desired Skills and Experience
Knowledge/Expertise

n Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and working knowledge of Windows based computer programs required

Skills/Abilities

Must provide excellent customer service, understand the business needs, take initiative, possess excellent interpersonal skills (both written and verbal), have the ability to maintain the strictest level of confidentiality, and express high standards of professionalism
Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize
Must be able to take direction and constructive criticism
Ability to anticipate the needs of the group and plan accordingly
Have a cooperative attitude in working with individuals at all agency levels
