The Director of Cyber Security, Preparedness and Defense reports to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and leads Harley-Davidson’s Cyber Security, Threat, Identity and Access Management, GIS Controls and Disaster Recovery Teams. These Teams are responsible for protecting and defending Harley-Davidson’s customers, employees, dealers, suppliers and business through the preparedness, identification, analysis, mitigation, access and controls of threats and disruptions to all of Harley-Davidson’s technology and information resources. This will involve ongoing forward thinking to establish strategies that address the continuous change in the cyber threat and disaster recovery environments.
This position is also responsible for IT security operations, delivery, and architecture for the global enterprise. IT security operations include vulnerability and threat management, global security operational support, enterprise identity and access management, and responses to security and audit compliance activities. IT security includes the delivery of the global security portfolio, global security plan development and support, and all aspects of security related to other solution delivery and infrastructure operations projects. Build and develop IT security architecture encompasses vision and strategy, standards and guidelines, and ideation and future proofing as related to information security.
Furthermore, the Director of Cyber Security is a member of a trusted leadership team that drives the enforcement of information protection best practices, policies, and standards, and offers guidance across the organization to ensure the safeguard of Harley-Davidson’s proprietary data, assets, and resources from internal and external threats. This role will have a high degree of complexity due to the company's size, variation of threats, and requirements of Harley-Davidson’s internal business partners and external customers, dealers and suppliers.
