Job Description:
Honeywell Electronic Materials is currently seeking a Senior Customer Technical Development Manager for their Electronic Chemicals and Electronic Polymers product lines. The position can be based in San Jose, CA, Portland, OR or other suitable location close to key customers.
The overarching objective of this role is to lead the technical marketing and applications engineering support for our key customers.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Be the lead technical interface between our customer’s technology development teams and our R&D product marketing, and Sales functions.
Establish strong relationships with key customer technology development and process engineering stakeholders
Program management for joint development projects driving alignment between internal and customer R&D teams
Define customer technology roadmap and identify opportunities for new product development to address unmet customer needs.
Understanding and communicate customer product and process specific requirements to the Commercial and Development teams
Provide customer’s perspective to commercial teams to ensure correct prioritization of internal development projects
Support the development of customer-specific value propositions and overall technical leadership and coordination to drive commercial success.
Support customer-specific qualifications of new products.
Integrating HEM technology in customer’s processes
Supporting customer demos

Working Relationships, Internal & External:
Product Line Directors: Strategy, alignment, G&O, professional development
R&D/Engineering: Coordinate new product penetration strategy
Manufacturing plant: Drive new product manufacturing requirement, spec control, etc.
Customers: Understand CTQ’s and through VOC and on site learning, establish qual approach and schedule, support growth (in particular for targeted new products and regions).
Partners and Representatives: Develop strategic relationships with key customer technical personnel
This position may alternately be located close to a key customer, i.e.,New York (Albany, Malta), Texas (Austin, Dallas), Idaho (Boise), Arizona
Basic Qualifications
BS Degree in Engineering or technical (EE, ChemE, MatSci) field required
Five plus years experience in semiconductor or Electronic Materials
Additional Qualifications:
Direct experience in wet etch chemistry or related areas product or process engineering, product design, commercialization, or applications strongly preferred
Experience with global semi and electronics customers and Asia knowledge is a plus
Understands industry and technology basics/roadmaps
Understands of how customer organizations work including product development cycle and approval process and make decisions, and how materials supplier can influence their organization
Commercialization successes in past experience preferred
