Director Brand Marketing IMG Atlanta

Job Description:
Responsible for overall management strategy for marketing programs within the strategic brand management model, funded by partner licensees.
Develop marketing programs for institutions within the strategic brand management model for local, regional and national marketing campaigns.
Assist in development of concepts and strategic direction for national marketing campaigns to support collegiate licensed product across the retail marketing place.
Leverage marketing campaigns with local, regional, and national retailers to increase sell-in (wholesale shipments) and sell through of collegiate-licensed products.
Maintain communications with institutions, licensees and retailers about proposed, on-going and upcoming marketing campaigns.
Collaborate with and manage internal and external resources to develop creative and execution solutions for marketing programs.
Work closely with internal Partner Services to ensure that all CLC-owned brands and marketing campaigns are maximized by participating institutions.
Cultivate relationships with and create opportunities for apparel and non-apparel licensees tied to CLC marketing initiatives.
Track progress of marketing campaigns from ideation through execution and post-program analysis to ensure deadlines and goals are met.
Collect performance data, images and other assets for use in marketing campaign recaps both for internal and external use.
Develop various presentations, including those showcasing current, upcoming or past marketing campaigns using Power Point and other tools.
Develop and collect content for CLC and CLC partner social media outlets and other digital platforms used for promoting the sale of college merchandise.
Utilize research to develop ideas for to new business and marketing opportunities.
Access CLC’s systems to run reports, update information and seek institution approvals on pertinent projects.
Stay attuned to all trends related to consumer marketing across all platforms and retailer trends/growth plans.
Work closely with internal Retail Development teams to maintain understanding of the college retail landscape, and to use that knowledge to further the growth of “college” at retail through marketing.
Quantify the size and growth of key licensed products programs at retail within all distribution channels and specific retailers.
Analyze output data from retail intelligence to develop growth plans.
Develop and cultivate relationships with all major collegiate retail buyers and marketing staff within retailers.
Manage the day-to-day communication with major retail buyers and other retail marketing/support staff within specified channels as it relates to marketing programs.
Execute the Brand Marketing Division's annual goals and objectives as laid out by the Senior Director of Brand Marketing and Senior Vice President of Brand Development.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum 5 years of experience with consumer and retail marketing. Experience with major consumer, entertainment or sports brands a plus.
Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
Knowledge of retail distribution channels and existing relationships with licensees and retail accounts preferred.
Ability to demonstrate ideation, set strategy and lead execution.
Substantial experience working with or managing internal or external creative resources/agencies and managing such relationships.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Power Point.
Strong public speaking skills.
Excellent writing skills.
Ability to provide creativity and inspiration to projects.
Preferred digital marketing experience, including social media.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to multi-task.
