Director Agency Partner Sales Marketo New York

Job Description:
This position is responsible for exceeding assigned sales goals leveraging indirect sales channels (agencies, resellers and referral partners.)
The ideal candidate will be a strong sales leader with a demonstrated track record of success with at least 10 years of experience. Knowledge about selling on demand solutions, such as salesforce.com is required and knowledge about marketing and marketing services is preferred. Channel or partner experience is a plus, but not required.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Meet or exceed sales targets for new, upsell and renewal business.
Lead, develop and execute plan to develop partner strategy, target and recruit potential partners, participate in the onboarding of those partners and help grow their Marketo business.
Proven ability to plan and execute on go to market approaches, joint value propositions, and business cases around agency partner community.
Develop business plan including opportunity analysis, marketing and support for LATAM across enterprise and midmarket segments.
Engage with executives at partners and with Marketo executives to drive business
Become an expert in this space in order to provide significant value add and help grow sell through business.
Participate in marketing, channel enablement and operations activities to build efficient processes.
Ensure high partner satisfaction.
Provide accurate reporting to management
Effectively interface with Marketo sales and marketing teams.

Required Skills:
10+ years of enterprise software/services direct sales experience, specifically SaaS applications
Must be sales driven and have carried a bag /quota.
BA/BS
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
