Job Description:
Primary responsibility for building and maintaining relationships with key personnel at State Treasury, public sector payroll and pension agencies across the U.S. Assist in positioning Xerox as thought leader in this space and promote services provided by SGI. Assist in shaping strategic direction; identify opportunities for future growth and investment. Existing knowledge of our key target agencies is a plus.
Key Role
Leverage existing public sector relationships to identify opportunities and help Xerox make sales calls with key personnel
Participate in visits to current and prospective customers; help shape development of future RFPs
Develop new relationships at payroll, pension and State Treasury agencies
Conduct research to understand and identify industry trends and associated implications for Xerox (e.g., expansion of other payment services for public sector clients)
Create report that shares industry trends and news that can be shared with existing clients
Track federal / state legislative changes and associated impact
Help develop solutions, identify and cultivate potential partners where needed
Assist with developing proposals in terms of identifying relevant win themes, actually help write proposals, etc.
Measured on Revenue growth of the overall Group, and in their particular Industry area
