Job Description:
The Digital Processing Product Team is seeking outstanding candidates with the vision, passion and commitment to deliver on Visa's digital enablement strategy in support of Visa's Enhanced Visa Services (EVS) segment.
The Senior Director Digital Processing Product role will be a critical member of the product team responsible for enabling turn-key, digital solutions across Visa's issuer's, group service providers, and third party processor relationships. This position will be responsible for working across cross-functional stakeholder teams both internally and with external clients to prioritize, define and drive the end-to-end product development lifecycle.
The ideal candidate filling this role must possess an unique blend of leadership and implementation skills as well as have a strong understanding of business, technical and operational aspects of product management and development, with either prior experience in processing, cards, payment network processing, e-commerce, mobile technology, digital payments, and Visa's business.
The role will report to the lead Senior Director – Digital Processing Product.
Qualifications
Demonstrate digital leadership through the development of innovative new digital solutions to improve the customer experience and differentiate Visa's presence in the digital market.
SME for digital processing and enablement solutions related to mobile, payment, and commerce capabilities responsible for the delivery of Visa's EVS and DPS digital strategy.
Ownership and responsibility for detailed market analysis, detailed business requirement definition, PRA's, use cases, and product specifications for cross functional product enablement of new and enhanced digital capabilities. Includes understanding across all card types: prepaid, credit, and debit.
Experience in designing and developing digital and payment solutions through experiences which push the boundaries of user experience and new device capabilities.
Collaboration with IT to drive technical requirements, product testing, and optimized solutions that provide issuers with a highly configurable, on behalf of, digital solution with enhanced flexibility in creating and enhancing their customer experience.
Provide analytical insight and assistance to existing and prospective clients with strategies to address opportunities that increase cardholder satisfaction, increase activation & usage of mobile services, and driving revenues and transaction growth.
Partner with Product Delivery and Operations teams to drive all market launch planning activities. Create product specific implementation plans and implement ongoing operational plans to product implementation, and project management of go-to-market activities.
Work with design teams to create prototypes, demo's and materials to support the sales organization.
Consult with account executives, account managers and clients to drive pilot programs, in-market tests and new product launches.
Cross functional and dotted line leadership responsibilities to drive delivery across Visa, clients, and vendor partnerships.
Strong verbal and communication skills requiring extensive presentation experience across internal and external audiences.
Coordinate, drive, and document requirements across cross functional operational, on-boarding, market delivery, sales, and account executives to ensure delivery of high quality digital solutions.
Proven ability to service and support a range of internal and external customers, while maintaining client/stakeholder confidentiality, often in parallel and within a shifting set of priorities.
Demonstrated experience in the area of successfully managing multiple and competing priorities.
Experience planning, organizing, and managing multiple large projects with diverse cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to incorporate new techniques to solve business problems in the area of payments and digital.
Flexible and creative thinker with the ability to define business alternatives, generate out-of-the box solutions, and manage uncertainty.
Strong interpersonal skills and professional presence to build credibility at executive levels within Visa and with clients.
Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible style, with the ability to tailor delivery of complex topics to various audience levels.
Strong contributor with 12+ years' experience in digital, payment, product management/product development disciplines with proven leadership capabilities.
Experience managing the product development process and demonstrated success at delivering new product or services to market on-time, within budget.
Strong analytical skills and business case development expertise.
Demonstrated successful vendor negotiation and management skills.
Ability to translate product complexities, strategic insights, and analytical findings related to digital into actionable recommendations and practical business solutions.
Experience in managing product development in both a waterfall and agile environment.
50% travel may be required.
