Job Description:
The Director, Converged Security Technology Management, is responsible for the strategic development, deployment and management of ADP's Physical Identity Management & Protection Technology programs worldwide, assuring the identity and protection of ADP associates, clients, vendors, partners and contractors. Incumbent will help drive the development strategy, standards, training, action plans, and global reporting for the successful implementation of Physical Security Technology and Identity programs. This position works closely with Global Security Organization (GSO) partners, as well as Corporate Real Estate (CRE), local facilities managers and Global Business, Law and Governance (GBLG) across the corporation to drive standardization, effective staffing security practices and the sustainability of global standards and technology.
Responsibilities
Incumbent is the primary associate responsible for assisting the Chief Security Officer and Vice President, Converged Security Services, develop the strategic vision and implementation of the "One ADP" unified, centralized global physical security, communications and physical identity access and technology platforms.
Develops, deploys, administers and continually improves corporate wide platforms for standardizing protection technology and unified physical identity management and access globally.
Develops, maintains and communicates corporate policies and standards in association with GBLG, Human Resources, CRE and Associate Safety and Facilities Protection.
Works with the GSO partners to provide summary and detailed metrics on protection technologies, identity management programs, integrated communications technologies, readiness; performs gap analysis as necessary in areas associated with his or her duties ADP worldwide.
Engages with corporate, business unit and division leaders as appropriate to minimize the recurrence of physical identity failures, compliance failures, and protection failures.
Engages with corporate, business unit and division leaders as appropriate to design, implement, and deploy, technology to support physical identity, global communications platform and protection requirements globally.
Manages, and drives global operational teams to support Converged Security Technology programs globally, working closely with partners in Converged Security Architecture, Technical Security Services, Associate Safety and Facilities Protection and Threat and Incident Management.
Administers and continually improves corporate wide physical security programs, processes, procedures, and access management, dealing with badging and access control systems, CCTV, unified global communications and PSIMS platforms.
Works with the Associate Safety and Facilities Protection team to provide guidance to facility management and security on badging policy, standards, and implementation including CCTV, communications and PSIM requirements.
Works with the Security Communications and Training program to publish the process, security champion lists and escalation trees.
Defines requirements for the Internal Audit organization to evaluate the effective Physical Identity Management & Protection Technology within the business units/divisions to ensure compliance with industry standards, published corporate policies and commitments by associates and third-party vendors.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, preferably in Criminal Justice, Business Process Administration, Logistics, Risk Management, Information Security, or Computer Sciences
Experience
Eight to ten years of proven technical security development, management and implementation of security technologies
Three to five years' experience supervising a team of security or technical professionals, operating in a deadline-driven environment
Background in physical security, technical security, identity and access management
Experience and knowledge of managing platforms that include computer networking and enterprise technology platforms
Basic understanding of radio-based communications in a public safety or similar role
Basic understanding of telephony, IP telephony, paging, and integrated communications platforms for use in a public safety or similar role
Familiar with the use of data platforms for analytics, reporting, and like functions
Working knowledge and experience regarding global communications interoperability
Experience in multi-national / multi-divisional corporations a plus
Strong understanding of the security lifecycle functions, asset protection, physical protection, implementation and ongoing services
Required Skills
