Job Description:
HBC’s Editorial Director, Digital is responsible for the copy/voice direction and approval of digital/multimedia projects to meet business and consumer needs for commercial and product execution. The primary focus of this role is on product development within a digital context, which includes development of product assets as well as user interfaces for digital portals/platforms. This level of Creative staff is part of Hallmark Business Connections’ leadership team and is expected to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) from both Creative and Digital perspectives and help create revenue-driving assets and ideas for HBC.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree OR 3+ years management experience
5+ years copywriting experience
3+ years in a Sr Editor/Sr Writer, Associate Editorial Director, Editorial Director or Sr Editorial Director position
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Provides creative leadership and editorial direction and functions as an Associate Creative Director
Oversees translation of business strategies to copy direction and execution
Ensures the genre expertise is translated into compelling packages
Manage projects through all phases of development
Critiques and approves copy
Approves project assets and versions and approves final creative
Maximizes productivity of studio resources
Leads a team of digital/multimedia writers
Partners with other business and technology teams to represent Creative concerns and develop appropriate solutions to business challenges
Maintains an understanding of the complexities of clients’ digital strategy requirements and how HBC capabilities support that strategy
Engages diverse range of consumers to understand emotion-based connecting needs and expectations of the Hallmark brand
Through consumer, brand and product knowledge, craft expertise and professionalism, motivates others within creative
