Job Description:
This position is responsible for helping to shape and manage the internal and external com-munications strategy for the Sandoz United States business. This role will operationally report to the VP, Communications. The goal of this position is to ensure that both internal and external communications as well as community partnerships align with and support the Company's overall business objectives and priorities. This position will build and maintain collaborative relationships with Novartis and Sandoz communications leaders in support of US-specific issues, business priorities and product launches.
Requirements
BA degree, MBA a plus. English. • Min 15 years’ experience in communications in healthcare communications/PR, corporate setting; agency experience a plus. • Proven experience and track record of developing and implementing integrated communication plans including both internal and external communications planning and execution. • Expertise in all aspects of media relations; • Government affairs and investor relations experience a plus. • Possesses a range of internal communications disciplines, including employee engagement, crisis/issues management, brand/product communications, change management. • National experience; global preferred. Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with track record of supporting senior leaders. • Proven capability in coaching, influencing, and leading senior leaders on their communications effectiveness, cross functionally and across geographical boundaries. Ability to work independently and under pressure. • Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Flexible and agile approach. • High integrity and values. Understanding and experience of digital and social media. Strong understanding of internal and external stakeholders inc. Physicians, Payers, Patients.
