The Tri-State team is looking to add a Solutions Architect Director to our growing team. Reporting to the VP Solutions you will be s a key member of the business development and sales engineering teams. You will ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services onto a hybrid cloud model leveraging both private on-prem models and multiple public cloud providers like Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.
Specific Responsibilities Include
Partner with the sales team, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of Presidio Cloud Solutions
Hire, on-board, train, and develop new Solutions Architects from internal and external sources
Act as a Technical liaison between customers, service engineering & support teams
Directly collaborate with the sales team to formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of Presidio Cloud Technologies
Be a Cloud evangelist. Educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of Cloud Solutions and Technologies
Establish credibility & build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates
Participate in deep architectural discussions to build confidence and ensure customer success when building new and migrating existing applications, software and services onto Presidio Cloud Solutions.
Conduct deep-dive “hands-on” education/training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering, or already using, Cloud Solutions like AWS, Azure etc.
Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the Presidio SA community
Author or contribute to customer-facing publications such as whitepapers, tutorials, etc. Present sessions at Presidio, customer and industry conferences
Required Skills
7+ years design & implementation experience with distributed applications
5+ years of experience in networking; infrastructure or database architecture
Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers
Excellent communication skills with an ability to right level conversations
Technical degree required; Computer Science or Math background desired
Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
3+ years software/technology customer facing experience
Experience with “on-premise to cloud” migrations or IT transformations
Experience architecting/operating solutions build on Presidio Cloud Solutions
Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
History of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises
Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
Familiarity with common enterprise services (Directory Services, Information Assurance, Virtual Desktop, etc.), products (i.e., Oracle, SAP) and frameworks (ITIL, Zachman, TOGAF, etc.)
Required Experience
