They are currently searching for a Director of Analytics with exceptional leadership, people skills, and analytical rigor to join their growing team. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Lead and mentor a team tasked with analyzing large, complex data sets representing the behavior of millions of online and mobile game players to address strategic and operational business questions
Analyze terabytes of complex data sets that represent millions of web & mobile behavior
Develop frameworks, models, tools, and processes to ensure data influences decisions at all level
Own insights for large-scale projects and present strong decisions to engineering, product, and marketing departments
Desired Skills and Experience
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
BS degree in Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or Physics, or similar quantitative / scientific field
A proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics
Conceptual thinking skills must be complemented by a strong quantitative orientation that lead to actionable and measurable results.
Excellent organization and people skills and ability to set priorities, problem solve, and multi-task in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
Strong knowledge of SQL and Tableau
Experience in Hive and Impala is a plus but not required
