The Executive Director/Director (TV Distribution) role is responsible for managing the Budget/Forecasts/MRP process for International Distribution activities.
The role is accountable to the VP Finance for Distribution in fulfilling line of business support and corporate finance responsibilities, including liaising across functional departments within SPT Distribution operations/finance and other line of business and providing information requests as directed. Primary responsibilities include:
Manage International Distribution Budgeting/Forecasting/MRP for gross revenue (including presentations, market/product trend analysis, R&O’s)
Manage ultimates with quarterly reporting
Manage greenlight process for both feature & television product
Manage film modeling with title results & provide opportunity recommendations
Develop system enhancements and process efficiencies
Support sales operations and finance with decision making analysis (e.g. executive presentations, monthly dashboards & deal analysis), ad hoc projects
Manage MPA reporting & provide executive summary reviews
Manage and develop staff
Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting – Prepare annual budget, quarterly forecasts and mid-range plans covering P&Lin close coordination with Distribution and Production operations and Home Office/London finance, including developing relevant assumptions. Includes detailed analysis and communication of performance versus plan, and business strategy support. Identify and communicate relevant risks and opportunities
Business Support/Other –Proactively provide clear, understandable and meaningful business and financial insight and ad hoc analyses to line of business heads and finance supervisors to support informed business decisions; Support strategic financial analyses;
Finance Function Management –develop a high performing team, setting high standards and performance goals for each member
Identify and implement process improvements, tools and systems to provide enhanced financial and operational informatio

Knowledge and Skills:
Solid business acumen with analytical and critical thinking
Self-motivated, self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment
10+ years of experience in entertainment finance budgeting and planning role
Self-motivated, self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel & PowerPoint (including look-ups, pivot tables, and macros)
Knowledge of finance and accounting principles
Knowledge of SAP is strongly preferred
