As Director UI/UX Design, you will be lead a larger User Experience team and will help plan, design, and develop best-of-breed web platforms. Internal teams and business clients use these web applications to launch display, video and TV advertising campaigns, reserve campaign inventories, handle creative upload and download, enter information, receive communication, and interact with/analyze large amounts of data. In this role you will create intuitive interfaces, beautiful graphics, cutting-edge interactive components, and consistent front-end templates.
You will work closely with a small team of Senior and Junior UI/UX designers in Tel Aviv, and a geographically dispersed group of product managers and developers. Collaboration is a key part of all aspects of our design process. After you join, you will lead key UI/UX initiatives for the various AOL Platforms groups with the support of the other team members. You must be able to work independently and possibly remotely at times while remaining accessible at unconventional hours due to the various time zones the team works within.
As a senior contributor building our enterprise platforms, your work will directly drive this revolution and help AOL build its unparalleled advertising platform suite. The challenge is both massive and very exciting to designers who love complex problems and unchartered territories.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work on all aspects of User Experience Design from concept to completion, including:
- Task flows
- Conceptual wireframes
- Design comps
- Icon design
- Prototypes
- Establish design directions and patterns
- Workflow Animations
Qualifications
Required Skills:
• Advanced skills with widely used design tools such as Adobe CC suite (After Effects a plus)
• Can work directly with Product Managers and Business to define product requirements focusing on customer efficiency and ease-of-use.
• Must be able to work within established deadlines.
• Must perform well in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have a portfolio that showcases digital design capabilities.
• Experience with supporting development teams building front-end interfaces a plus.

Education / Experience:
• Bachelor's degree or relevant combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of web/mobile/enterprise platform design experience
• Design experience with web as well as other media preferred, e.g. print design, mobile app design, etc.
