Director Supply Chain Delivery Cognizant Atlanta

Job Description:
Cognizant’s Retail & Consumer Goods (RCG) BU is seeking a talented Supply Chain Delivery Director to join its growing team. This role will support a subset of the Supply Chain Practice with responsibility for a few key clients. Location can be based anywhere in the US with easy access to a major airport, but preference will be given for individuals based in the SE (Atlanta/Charlotte).

Reporting to the Supply Chain Practice Lead, the Supply Chain Delivery Director will play an instrumental role in growing revenue through the identification and development of new target clients as well as management of existing client relationships. The leader must be able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment to achieve overall business objectives. Through a consultative approach, this Supply Chain thought leader will be responsible for the delivery of Supply Chain package solutions to new and existing clients, clarify the scope of projects, identify business solutions and manage project execution. In addition, this individual will utilize their exceptional client relationship and communication skills to continually ensure clients' expectations are being met and to identify future project initiatives.

Desired Skills and Experience
• B.S. Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Information Systems. MBA preferred.

• 15-20 years of prior software implementation and consulting experience with Retail & CPG companies for best-of-breed supply chain solutions like JDA, Manhattan Associates, High Jump, Oracle SCM etc.

• 10-15 years of experience leading a professional services practice/team.

• At least 5 years of Business Development and Practice Management experience

• Maintain Billable Utilization up to 80%

• Average travel 50 - 75%

• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills

• Proactively coordinate with Cognizant and Vendor Sales teams as well as Cognizant Client Partners and Account Managers in the geography to discover opportunities and cross-sell

• Continually evaluate and provide guidance on emerging retail packages

• Engage with Client CIOs, Program Managers on Solution Approaches and ensures the overall quality of the solution

• Ensures review and delivery of on-time and high quality project deliverables

• Establishes relationships with senior level executives within the vendor and client organizations

• Works with recruiting, HR and immigration teams to ensure resource staffing levels
