Director Product Operations

Drives product management operations and pan Sabre strategies across solution families

The Director of Product Operations will own the development , implementation and ongoing support of the solution P&L , tech labor management and solution pricing along with associated operational processes across solution families. This position will be the point of contact for Sabre PLC initiatives and other Pan Sabre initiatives as well as coordination of product planning process for business unit. This position relies on close interaction with the solution directors, product marketing, support and technology.

Responsibilities:

• Own the solution P&L process

• Manage the tech labor supply & budget reconciliation process

• Sabre PLC and other pan Sabre initiatives

• Own product pricing & business plans

• Manage SHS product planning process

• Initial development of solution P&L and tech labor management process including product taxonomy

• Assist in implement the new product owner role especially as it relates to:

• Sales/revenue ownership

• Deal review

• Tech resource tracking

• Support product strategy initiatives along with market research

• Monitor new technology trends and identify areas of innovation relative to distinct competencies and market /business needs

• Identify and establish strategic OEM partnerships to expand the solution footprints – monitor effectiveness of partnerships





Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications:

• Strong background in finance

• Minimum 10 years’ experience working within travel technology and enterprise software development

• Familiarity with product management and SaaS software development methodologies

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a finance or technical field (MBA preferred)

• Experience working in a team-oriented, highly collaborative environment is essential

• Minimum 5 years leadership experience driving process and business practice improvements

• Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills

• Strong business acumen, critical thinking, and analytical skills

• Resourceful, action-oriented individual who possesses a sense of urgency and knows how to overcome obstacles to get things done in a timely fashion
