Director Global Planning Incentive Compensation Oracle Rocklin

Job Description:
This Director of Global Planning will lead a team of four direct reports and ensure that the compensation plan design ties closely to companys product strategy, drive consistent analysis of compensation plan effectiveness by product, develop strategic relationships with the Product Development organization, work collaboratively with the Divisional Planning team, effectively integration acquired companies into Oracles compensation processes.

Responsibilities

Develop strategic relationships with the executives in the Product Development organization

Evaluates current year incentive compensation plan results to determine plan effectiveness

Understand product strategy and sales model and can articulate to divisional teams

Understands divisional strategy and opportunities and articulate that to product development

Leads in the design of new incentive compensation plans and programs

Drives consistent-analytical reporting by plan type and product

Understands the Go To Market strategy by product and region

Provides guidance for incentive structure throughout the year, participates in meetings

Provide analysis to executives on comp plan effectiveness.

Leads all activities related to variable compensation, including working with variable compensation team to ensure adherence to establish guidelines and reviews all non-standard requests

Manages a team of four senior level individual contributors.

Qualifications

Design, deliver, and support global sales model with focus on productivity improvement of planning process and application.

Design Global Sales Model for presentation to Executive Management. Partner with lines of business in the design of compensation models in the support of strategic business initiatives. Develop incentive programs in support of Oracle*s sales goals and strategies. Facilitate the improvement of plan issuance including technology improvements. Establish on-target-earnings matrices and guidelines for variable administration.

Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Serves as process owner; ability to identify cross-functional issues. Demonstrated leadership skills. 10 years relevant experience and BA/BS degree.
