Job Description:
Provide custromer facing and professional society facing representation on medical affairs matters for Boston Scientific's Endoscopy Pulmonary franchise. Provide input to pulomonary business strategy. Participate in optimization of health economics for pulmonary procedures. Contribute to commercialization planning for pulmonary devices. Participate in review of clinical study reports. Support publication strategy for pulmonary procedures in which BSC Endoscopy pulmonary devices are used.
Key Responsibilities
The role will sit on leadership team of pulmonary franchise without direct reports.
Develop and maintain close working relationships with global thought leaders in the pulmonary space.
Review Investigator Sponsored Research proposals for non-commercial cross-functional committee.
Help oversee compliance with company policy and procedures with particular attention to HCP Global Compliance guidance.
Develop and maintain close relationships with relevant professional societies.Assure familiarity with global pulmonary guidelines.
Provide input to pulmonary business strategy.
Bring insights into patient flow and impact on health economics of various stakeholders in patient care. Close collaboration with Health Economics and Reimbursement colleagues.
Support experts in submission of abstracts to key professional meetings when requested and support white paper development as needed.
Be keeper of overall publication strategy in close collaboration with Marketing colleagues globally.
Contribute to clinical study report reviews. Be knowledgeable of clinical study findings and prior publications.
Be knowledgeable of ongoing Safety and Complaints reviews through communications with Medical Director.
Collaboration with Medical Affairs colleagues in regional offices.
Foster a diverse workplace and support broad organizational objectives.
Responsible for Pulmonary Medical Affairs budget.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in science, health or technical related field (e.g., Biology, Biomedical, Engineering); Master's Degree preferred
12+ years related experience
Strong ability to work with cross-functional colleagues
Strong clinical acumen, with an interest in and ability to understand and to communicate scientific data
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and data
Strong interpersonal skills to enable cross-functional collaboration and customer relationship development, including ability to build credibility with and to appropriately collaborate with key senior stakeholders across multiple functions
Strong strategic skills and experience developing account-level or product-level business/strategic plans
High sense of urgency and commitment to execution
Excellent written and verbal communication
Must have the ability to manage simultaneous priorities, changing deadlines, and limited resources
