The Director role will sit in Citi Markets Operations Technology department within Markets and Securities Services Technology (MSST). This role ensures business alignment is embedded within the Institutional Clients Group business. The role is a critical part of our strategy to enhance and upgrade our High Touch platform in line with meeting business demands through the next cycle.
The Director will work with different stakeholders to identify the data requirements for our client, regulatory and analytical needs within Markets. Evolve the role to be a single point of contact for all such needs across the organization. Create a strategic solution integrating these requirements. Deliver the solutions based on their order of priority. Maintain agility while integrating with existing data-warehouses and systems. Define Interfaces and Service Level Agreements (SLA’s). The role requires close relationships with senior business stakeholders and users, providing technology solutions that meet global functional and non-functional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
· Identify the stakeholders and establish as provider of data for them
· Identify various data aggregation points, establish relationships with them and influence their books of work
· Create a strategic roadmap while accommodating immediate and time critical deliveries
· Report progress to various stakeholders
Required Skills
•Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Engineering
•Minimum 10 years in financial services, specifically Equities Cash and Derivatives business related
•Proven ability to build new platforms whilst managing legacy commitments (requirements through to implementation and ongoing production/operational management & maintenance) and interaction/integration with other platform systems and components
•Proven ability to own and drive programs of work consisting of multiple full life-cycle projects
•Proven ability to deliver scalable, performant and robust Service/Function/API based architectures
•Detailed understanding of the needs of order management and associated Single Names and Programs workflows
•Experience of managing co-located and remo experience of front to back office flows and requirements
•Proven track record of delivery to time and budget

Current knowledge of Citi tools and technologies in Big Data
