Job Description
The Director of Sales will manage a sales team of 14-18 experienced individuals each with expertise in the storage arena. The position requires “hands on” capabilities that compliment both the sales force and sales support structure at McMurray Stern. Fieldwork, including construction contract expertise, is a preferred component of the “hands on” experience.
The Director of Sales will also identify objectives, strategies, and territory action plans that improve short and long term sales for each member of the sales force. This includes mentoring and development of the current team as well as hiring and training of new sales personnel.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus 10+ years of demonstrated success in a sales role. Additionally, candidates must have 5+ years demonstrated experience leading the sales team to deliver year over year growth.
Qualified candidates will also have a proven ability of influencing leadership, peers, and subordinates including problem identification and resolution, cross-enterprise collaboration, customer satisfaction, product and service quality, and continuous performance improvement.
