Job Description
Responsible for applications systems analysis and programming activities. Reviews systems development project requests and coordinates schedules and related departmental activities. Provided overall direction and guidance to assigned project managers. Reviews and evaluates work of subordinate staff and prepares performance reports. Prepares activity and progress reports regarding applications systems analysis and programming sections.
Sodexo is the global leader in food and facilities management. The Sodexo IS&T office is looking for a Director for Mobility, Digital and Social Solutions. The Sodexo IS &T offices are located in Williamsville, NY.

General

Acts as the technical Subject Matter Expert to facilitate the growth of mobile capabilities across the organization
Responsible for selection, planning and implementation of mobile technologies
Acts as the technical SME in defining and implementing Sodexo’s digital and social media strategy
Responsible for defining and implementing Sodexo’s technical mobility infrastructure
Establishes and enforces best practices around Native, Web app and Hybrid approach to mobility implementations
Responsible for implementation and maintenance of Sodexo’s cloud based mobile services platform

Strategic

Works closely with offer development, corporate communications and other business groups to provide technical guidance and implementation support for mobile initiatives
Analyzes industry, technology trends to determine their potential impact on the enterprise
Works closely with Sodexo’s infrastructure team to on defining and implementing MDM and MAM technologies
Works closely with technical application teams and provides guidance and best practices on how to best expose and mobile enable application data and business logic
Engages with business leaders to identify key opportunites for mobile enablement
Maps business processes to IT systems and identifies the implementation strategy
Ensures architecture decisions are aligned with NORAM IT Strategy
Helps determine economic value to the business of mobile and social initiatives

Operational

Acts as technical architect and manages delivery of mobile application development projects
Reviews project estimates with the business, develops ROI, and brings to IT Governance for approval
Defines priority & sequence, scope, and function of enablement projects necessary to fill in architecture
Acts as Sodexo’s main point of contact for mobile development partners
Ensures development practices are aligned with established technical architecture
Provides technical expertise and acts as a conduit to Sodexo’s supporting technology systems
Works with production support teams to establish monitoring, issue resolution and timely support for all mobile applications and infrastructures
Monitors and manages capacity planning for mobility infrastructure

Fiduciary

Establishes and manages project budgets and reports to PMO
Optimizes acquisition, support and maintenance costs for mobile and social infrastructures
Manages and monitors costs for third party development partners
Background

BS in Computer Science or MIS, or equivalent experience
7+ years’ experience in application development, integration and IT infrastructure
5+ years’ experience in systems architecture
3+ years’ experience in business systems analysis and project management
Strong knowledge of mobile development technologies across multiple platforms
Prior experience as a mobile architect preferred

Reporting
Solid line reporting to Sr. Director Application Development and Global Content
Direct reports potential as need dictates
