Job Description
The Director - IT infrastructure operations leads the global infrastructure team, and is responsible for developing short term and long term strategic roadmaps and support implementation and operations for all infrastructure components including data center, cyber security, cloud computing, network, servers, storage/backup, database, Oracle ERP, disaster recovery, and end user computing. This individual will partner with business applications delivery leads to align infrastructure strategy with business goals and deliver world class infrastructure operations.
Accountabilities
Technology and Architecture
Develop, implement, and maintain 3-5 year infrastructure strategy/roadmap that provides cyber security, business continuity, and high availability solutions across all infrastructure areas - Server, storage, network, and datacenter
Utilize methodologies/process to develop current and future state roadmap and play a critical transformative role in building a world-class IT infrastructure support organization
Manage and implement infrastructure strategic programs/projects in accordance with the budget, schedule, and contract
Provide leadership to implement best in class server/storage, backup, virtualization, and disaster recovery solutions that support organizational level business continuity
Consolidate datacenters and implement a hybrid cloud model that optimizes the cost and provides improved availability and performance
Architect solution in partnership with vendors, IT application leadership team, and implement solutions across entire infrastructure area
Deliver quality focused services across all functional areas of infrastructure with established proactive monitoring and alerting mechanisms to support 13+ manufacturing sites and customer service locations
Implement cyber security program across the enterprise using SIEM technology and integrate with vulnerability management program
Process and Program
Drive best practices, operating/service excellence, and process improvement across infrastructure functions
Establish end-to-end processes to drive down cycle time, improve availability, and efficiency
Understand security gap and implement cyber security across the organization
Manage project portfolio by partnering with the project management office and manage resource allocation optimally by prioritization
Drive and deliver a disciplined process for first line support to expedite problem resolution while driving enhancements to reduce future outages
Develop, track, and control the IT infrastructure annual operating and capital budgets
Lead program schedules/project budgets and ensure timely delivery of projects with right performance, cost, and quality
Define, organize, and direct resources, standards, processes, procedures, and tools essential for the successful completion of a program
Implement a process driven organization that gathers metrics and provides continuous improvement
Gather metrics for incident/service requests, performance/capacity, and act as a thought leader to address things proactively helping eliminate any recurring issues in alignment with ITIL methodologies
Vendor/Partner management
Work closely with MBCI service providers and strategic partners to aggressively manage service level agreements, increasing value, and speed of delivery while decreasing cost
Partner with vendors to plan, design, and build technologies to enable solutions that meet MBCI infrastructure needs
Create and foster long-term relationships with internal and external partners both offshore and onshore
Team Development
Develop and lead a high performance team and manage both internal team and external partners
Create strategic initiatives and plans that provides significant value to business
Ensure various functions within infrastructure are working together and with the customer (application teams) to deliver programs, and release new projects on time

Education / Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science orInformation Systems or related field with minimum of 12+ years of related work experience in IT required
Master's degree in Information Systems,Computer Science. or related field or an MBA preferred
Experience in IT infrastructure operations management / transformation.
Experience in creating an infrastructure roadmap and leading / implementing and supporting major initiatives within budget, timeline, and quality
Experience in planning and implementing disaster recovery and business continuity across the organization
Experience in implementing and supporting large scale enterprise datacenter, public, private, and/or hybrid cloud model and consolidating datacenters into smaller footprints preferred
Experience in managing cyber security program and implementing SIEM/vulnerability management tool for the enterprise will be a plus
Technology leader with deep knowledge in various functional areas
Good customer facing skills, capability to break down barriers, and the agility to move throughout an organization at all levels to serve the business
Strong work ethic, problem solving, analytical skills, sense of business urgency, and ability to work effectively with many deadlines in a complex matrix organization
Experience with Six Sigma, ITIL, and Agile Methodologies
