Job Description
This Director/Enterprise Architect will lead overall strategy, planning, architecture delivery and governance for the information security architecture domain in support of business strategy. This experienced information technology professional will reporting to the VP, Enterprise Architecture will be part of the Infrastructure Architecture leadership team. Preferred Qualifications• Demonstrated experience presenting architecture concepts and goals to technology leaders and business partners.
• Financial Services industry specific knowledge that includes a working knowledge of industry standards and architectures.
• Experience with regulatory compliance issues such as FFIEC, OFCC, HIPAA, SOX and PCI.
• Industry Certifications:
CISSP, CISA or CISM
Responsibilities Major areas of accountability:
• Leads overall Enterprise Security Architecture Domain Strategy, Planning & Architecture practice.
• Pro-actively engages with business, CISO, Risk & Compliance and technology delivery stakeholders to identify key business/compliance drivers, requirements and capabilities gaps. Identifies corresponding tactics and long term road maps.
• Articulate and leads annual planning cycle for Security Architecture domain. Drive realization of road maps with key stakeholders and corresponding investment decisions.
• Pro-actively govern and evolve existing technology standards and architectures to meet evolving business needs and changing external industry landscape.
• Research industry trends, introduce and transition new technology into the organization.
• Rationalize existing technology investments relative to new capabilities and investments.
• Partner with other architects to ensure end-to-end integrity of architecture solutions and implications are well understood and risks mitigated. Provide corresponding architecture reviews.
• Leads end-to-end Program/Project Architecture delivery as directed.
• Provides oversight to engineering, delivery and operations teams to ensure successful architecture design follow through and traceability back to original technology strategies and requirements.
• Maintain relevant capability models and enterprise road maps.
• Directly or indirectly lead teams to meet core responsibilities.
