Job description
The Position:
Pegasystems is seeking a visionary yet pragmatic Sr. Director of Web Architecture who will be a key member of the Pega IT Leadership Team helping to shape company strategy and drive growth.
In this role, you will:
Provide thought leadership for and develop the architecture for all of Pega’s community ecosystems
Build a world class web team responsible for the development, governance, and oversight for Pega’s digital systems
Develop a frictionless digital ecosystem ensure the Buyer’s experience is brilliant, encouraging, and inspiring when they choose to engage

Desired Skills and Experience
The Person:
The ideal candidate should be an intelligent, motivated, and accomplished senior web architecture professional who has a track record of building and leading large and sophisticated digital ecosystems.

Qualifications will include:
Bachelor’s degree in business management, management information systems or related field
15+ years progressive experience in a web architecture and development role, with at least 5 years’ experience with a software company
Demonstrated ability to lead a web architecture team to drive results
Strong experience with implementing leading edge web technologies and architecture
Experience influencing IT strategy and business planning
A strategic thinker – able to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) to influence both your team and the Pega leadership team
Communicate complex concepts in a compelling, concise, and creative way
Engaging personality to inspire and create excitement
Possess a strong work ethic, willing to go the extra mile, hands-on yet can delegate well, and possess a “nothing is beneath me” attitude
Ability to partner with management team peers in a collaborative fashion. The candidate will have a track record of creating strong relationships with the team
Driven and team-oriented with a demonstrated ability to lead by example and motivate a team using personal traits such as intellect, integrity, and creativity
