Director Global Security Prometric Baltimore

Job Description
Provide exam security strategy for Prometric across all functional areas globally, working closely with technology compliance. Oversees the global security activities of the business including: test center operations and business processes; directing and developing analysis of data looking for trends that may indicate collusion or cheating; work cross functionally to ensure the processes and attention are in place to protect our exam content, candidate data, and financial information; work with technology to identify solutions that aide in securing information. Collaborates with Legal and Human Resources on security investigations

Specifically The Role Will
Ensure employees adhere to security policies and procedures
Plan, oversee and draw conclusions from secret shopping activities

Maintain the test center quality scoring system
Protect PII from being accessed by hackers, fake test takers, or proxy testers
Identify, plan for and implement changes to policies, procedures and underlying technologies that enhance and protect the quality and safety of the company’s business information


This Position Will Manage The Following Areas
End-to-end test security
Define and drive vision for security of testing from test development through to delivery - owning implementation of same on a global basis
Develop and manage agenda for security priorities in an increasingly distributed delivery network including fixed test locations, burst site, event based and remote testing
Represent the company in external industry and security specific events; assist in client meetings and reporting

Security Operations
Drive the evolution of the monthly test center report card and quarterly regional risk assessments
Provide oversight to secret shop, operational audit & remote audit programs to ensure an appropriate mix of reviews and resulting actions to improve overall security
Continuously improve security operational procedures to drive overall test security, identify and mitigate potential risks and automate processes to enable faster decision making
Maintain & improve test center standards for security including periodic review for consistency and best practice implementation across client programs

Security & Technology Compliance
Assess the results of the various annually recurring risk assessments to identify new policies required and steps needed to mitigate risks identified
Partner with technology to ensure required process re-design and software development/fixes are executed in a timely manner and drive expected results

Security Investigations
Review recommendations to suspend, investigate and if necessary close sites due to poor security or performance.
Work closely with account management to follow-up on client security concerns
Play key role in employee & ethical investigations using those that impact test center operations to categorize and drive policies & procedures as appropriate


Required Experience
10+ years’ experience preferably in an operations management role
Advanced degree preferred
Desire to work in a global organization
Ability to work with technology and technical staff
Strong analytic ability
Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree, operations background, and strong analytic, people, and project management skills.
