The Director of Service Operations role is responsible for all GIS IT operations, supporting over 800 applications, 2 data centers, 7,000 users, and both domestic and international sites. This includes responsibility for the managed services being delivered by external providers, and management of the GIS staff responsible for overseeing the providers, to ensure our application and infrastructure maintenance services and help desk operations meet all service level requirements. The Director of Service Operations works closely with GIS executive staff and managed service providers’ leadership to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support technology solutions that meet future H-D business needs.
The Director of Service Operations is responsible for all ITIL Service Operations processes, in addition to Change Management, Release Management, and the Help Desk, Application Management and Technical Management functions. Travel Required10-25%
