Duties & ResponsibilitiesDevelops and coordinates the delivery of customized executive education programs for corporate clients.
Responsible for overall management of the client relationship with HBS including: business development, proposal development and negotiation, program planning and evaluation, and partnership with program teams for program delivery and evaluation.
Responsible for balancing faculty development priorities, client program objectives, and commercial terms in a sustainable manner.
Custom Programs scope is not geographically bounded, and the role requires program development and delivery activities to be conducted both on campus and off, including in China, India, Western Europe and elsewhere in the US.
Enhances/supports relationships between faculty, researchers, and clients involved in the creation of intellectual capital of HBS.
Works with faculty and corporate relations and Publishing staff to ensure integration and coordination of sales calls, participates in presentations/negotiations to senior execs regarding corporate educational needs – from custom to open enrollment to blended learning.
Supports development of long term multifaceted relationships between custom clients and HBS ( e.g., other parts of EE, Harvard Business Publishing, External Relations, MBA Career Services, other parts of Harvard University )
