The Director of Corporate Finance is responsible for designing/originating full banking/depository relationships, global treasury solutions and simple/complex debt financing arrangements for technology clients and prospects in the Central region. Ability to perform at a high level with a solid understanding of credit and capital markets, financial engineering, global/domestic treasury solutions, competition, technology market and SVB’s unique market advantages. Role will include the management of certain key banking relationships involving complex private, public and global enterprises. Willingness to build an extensive network of business contacts, community leaders, executive management of clients/prospects and other referral sources, which will enhance SVB’s visibility within our markets. Develop engaging client events and be a willing host for clients across multiple mediums.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
Advanced knowledge of bank operations and products.
Strong negotiation, marketing and closing skills.
Expertise in risk assessment, setting expectations and managing deteriorating accounts pro-actively.
