Job Description
Huawei Enterprise Business division is seeking a Business Development Manager/Director – Education. You will be responsible to apply Huawei's Education Solutions to customer challenges, in collaboration with the regional field sales account executives. This role will be an integral part of the solution sales effort and will take the lead role in recommending the appropriate solutions for the customer.
This position is based in Cupertino, CA.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute strategies for education vertical
Align technology, product, solution, partner, and internal resources to implement plans for education sectors.
Responsible for achieving revenue target for the vertical.
Liaison with management and HQ teams for market and solution development and resource acquisition.
Develop key relationships at target customer base
Develop and execute marketing plans with the marketing team for the target vertical..
Responsible for communication and engagement with the field sales team.
Establish and maintain relationships with the key decision makers and executives within your customers.
Job Qualifications
Sell Huawei product and services to reach revenue quotas in education vertical directly to the customers or indirectly through new strategic alliance partners and Systems Integrators.
Collaborate with teammates and maintain a positive and professional attitude fostering teamwork
Must have a thorough understanding of, and experience with enterprise products.
A working knowledge and direct selling experice of education vertical for enterprise products.
A minimum of 5 years selling education end to end solutions leveraging a wide variety of technologies.
Customer facing experience and the ability to deal with ambiguity is a must.
Ability to translate complex technical topics to any level within a company (IT Admin to the CEO).
The candidate must be able to work independently, with strong written and oral communication skills.
Advanced selling skills and good time management skills required.
Motivated and self-directed sales professional that can operate within guidelines assigned
Exceptional communication, presentation and negotiation skills and positive professional attitude is required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to lift/carry materials, move about the office, turn on and operate a computer in the applicable environment, communicate efficiently and effectively on the telephone or in person, and complete required paperwork. Travel may be required as directed by management based on business needs.
