Director Community FI Solution Strategies NCR Duluth

Job Description
This CFI Solution Strategy Leader will be responsible for owning and defining the go-to-market offers and delivery plans for the Community FI business segment. This involves first developing a deep understanding of the Community FI’s P&L, their business requirements, process flows, architecture and technology design, as well as the end user needs that surround our solutions. The successful leader will assess these details, organizing them into a comprehensive business plan and a revolving multi-quarter execution plan. This leadership position is expected to be directly accountable for profitable business growth of the solutions and/or segment(s) under their purview.
The ideal candidate is a strong customer advocate, possesses deep knowledge of banking client / prospect behaviors, as well as strong background in technology, excellent portfolio management & delivery skills. In addition to defining opportunities, the candidate also will need to be experienced in operationalizing & executing strategies. Candidate will need to have demonstrated success with building high-performing, cross-functional teams and with building consensus around key business strategies. The successful leader will interact with c-level executives and senior leaders from our client, partner and advisory organizations and must communicate with credibility and executive presence in such interactions.

Responsibilities:

Define multi-channel technology & transaction solution strategies from a business perspective for the Community FI Segment within Financial Services.
Work with Product, Architecture and Engineering teams to develop platform strategies.
Work with cross functional business teams to ensure short and long-term plans address the business needs of our clients and the experience needs of our customers while aligning to the strategic business direction. This includes making recommendations on build versus buy decisions.
Create and document business cases for new development and savings opportunities.
Create and communicate the portfolio vision across the team and the organization; ensure tight alignment with NCR Financial Services strategies.
Be a platform champion and evangelist both internally and externally.
Practice rigor in prioritization and trade-offs between requirements to ensure maximum contribution to profitable business growth and/or customer satisfaction of the portfolio.
Team with internal and external partners to deliver high quality results on time and according to budget and plan.
Own end-to-end responsibility for customer and end-user success.
Contribute substantial revenue to the business P&L, ensuring annual growth targets are achieved

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required
• At least 10 years of collective experience in retail channel technologies, especially in the realm of Financial Services. Prior Payments & Commercial Banking technology leadership experience is strongly recommended
* Minimum of 5 years Senior Product Management experience
* Minimum of 10 years management experience of product and/or engineering professionals - ability to build and motivate high performing teams
• Demonstrated Success in setting and executing on business / technology / process strategies
* Demonstrated success in writing, managing and executing detailed requirements, synthesizing and prioritizing the demands of multiple constituents
• Proven track record of success leading feature, technology, consumer product or complex projects from concept through execution and delivery with cross functional project team.
• Ability to work with business partners to make feature and functionality trade-off decisions that are right for the business
• Ability to manage multiple, high-profile initiatives concurrently
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal; experience in partner negotiations
* Solid executive presence with senior executive decision-makers
• Outstanding organizational and teamwork skills
