Senior Director Studio Operations Zynga San Francisco

Job Description

Responsibilities:
Partner with key leaders to help establish Slate Planning, Studio Funding, game launch and business process operating framework along with the supporting process and toolset required
Be a Thought Leader to Studio General Managers/VPs to help with strategic plans to drive Slate. This can also potentially include driving planning workshops and providing cross-team learning tools.

Identify and partner with the necessary parties to establish 2nd party developer relationships so as to help implement resourcing strategic plans
Work collaboratively to improve and help reinforce cross-functional and studio operational standards to drive results and outcomes
Drive centrally driven strategic initiatives across game teams as required
Effectively communicate and work with other parts of the Zynga organization, and help ensure that technology and studio operations leverages the ideas and resources of the larger organization
Strong ability to work with or on Financial and HR data, and to partner with HR and Finance to help refine process as needed.
Be able to work closely with teams as required to coach and help drive change
Coach mentor and grow the next level of operational excellence leaders
If opportunity arises, act a “Ops” partner for a dedicated team

Required Skills:
10+ years of game development experience related in an ops or technical capacity
5+ years of reading and/or working on financial P&Ls, and being able to derive implications and help define new modes of operations if improvements are needed
Ability to stand alone as thought leader to help define new models of operation & drive day-to-day process execution
Effective written and verbal communication style to help teams see value of process track and see trends and communicate insights and learning to drive change
Great people leader with ability to coach & influence others
Ability to evaluate & communicate well both qualitatively & quantifiably
Ability to demonstrate good judgment skills, maintain confidentiality as needed and flex with dynamic work environment
