Job description
Responsibilities
Deliver innovative, high quality software in a fast moving market to enterprise-level customers both on premise and in the cloud
Drive the end-to-end software development lifecycle for new and sustaining releases.
Lead the development, quality assurance, architecture, and program management functions.
Foster and build a strong engineering team, including hiring, mentoring, and goal setting.
Drive engineering process improvements for quality, efficiency, etc.

Closely manage day-to-day decisions, including deadlines, work assignments, and priorities.
Work closely with the product management and support organizations on strategy and customer satisfaction issues.


Qualifications
Experience leading a large (100+ person) engineering team including development, QA, and program management.
Experience managing geographically distributed teams (notably US and India).
Track record for shipping innovative, high quality enterprise software.
Demonstrated success driving improvements to engineering processes.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
At least 15 years of software industry experience with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience is required.
