Job Description
The goal of the People Analytics team is to gain insight into our employee population and organization through deep data analysis thereby structuring teams to operate at their most optimal level and building programs and initiatives that help our employees thrive at work. As the Senior Manager of People Analytics you’ll be responsible for providing all qualitative and quantitative analytics to drive key business decisions. You will report to the VP, People Analytics and play an integral role in providing the key data and metrics that will help shape AOL’s people and organizational strategy.
Responsibilities
Understand the drivers of workforce analytics and workforce planning methodologies to build processes and tools to support business needs.
Assist in driving the development of key deliverables across various segments of the business, through creating reports and visually compelling charts & graphs and reports
Design and implement core human capital reports, organizational design insights, executive dashboards and other ad hoc reporting analysis for various stakeholders.
Manage the process and execute annual market based surveys, ad-hoc surveys and data analyses Continually evaluate and update current practices and methods for reporting and analyzing human capital data.
Manage best practice data studies that address critical HR or human capital issues or questions
Provide mentorship and guidance to analysts on the People Analytics team
Qualifications
BA/BS in HR, Business or related field. 5-7 years experience performing statistical data analysis in a business environment, particularly dealing with human capital data.
Ability to translate complex data analysis and research principles into terms that can be understood by a broader audience. Skilled at manipulating and managing large, complex databases, spreadsheets and queries and generating organizational metrics to assist with business decisions.
Expert knowledge in benchmarking principles and methodology and of business/industry practices
Superb interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in building relationships with HR partners.
Excellent project management skills, attention to detail, team-oriented and ability to multi-task and adapt quickly in a fast paced ever changing environment.
Technical capabilities: must be experienced with Tableau, Excel, and general data architecture and data visualization.
