Job Description
The Sales Director is responsible for maintaining and expanding the relationship with key Tier 1 accounts while owning the strategy and coordinating execution working with the broader Cadence team. This is a leadership role where success is measured by achieving sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives. The Sales Director represents the entire range of Cadence offerings, and while leading the account planning cycle is also responsible for ensuring that the overall efforts meet or exceed customer’s expectations.
Responsibilities include, aligning and driving sales strategies with customer needs, coordinating a large international team, working closely with ecosystem partners, R&D, Marketing and sales management to meet and exceed targets and regular internal reporting and accountability to Cadence Executive Management Team.
Desired Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate has specific knowledge of and experience in the EDA/Semiconductor/enterprise software Industry and has leveregable relationships in the Industry
and the Focus accounts.
Mandatory Skills & Eperience
Verifiable track record of 10-15+ years of senior sales & leadership roles and performance employing top down value based solution selling techniques
Global Account Experience with multi billion dollar corporations
Strong negotiation skills
Sales team management experience
Organized, strong verbal & written communication skills ; as well as board level presentation skills
Highly computer literate
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science, MSE/MBA preferred
Live in proximity to account headquarters or within day-travel ability. Willingness to travel greater than 30% of the time
