Job Description
NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join our NASCAR Social team in the position of Director, Partner Engagement based in our Charlotte office.

Director, Partner Engagement is responsible for working with the account team to deliver social media value to NASCAR’s official partners as well as auto manufacturers and Entitlement Sponsors. From campaign ideation and counsel to execution support and social media monitoring, the Director, Partner Engagement will work very closely with NASCAR’s New York-based Partnership Marketing team as well as the entire NASCAR Social Media group. The Director, Partnership will focus on defining and delivering against the top goals and objectives of NASCAR’s top corporate sponsors.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

High level, strategic social media support for NASCAR’s official partners, OEMs and entitlement sponsors

Ideation, development, management, and execution of social media programs and campaigns that help partners meet and succeed various business goals and objectives

Develop ROI metrics to support partner spending and activation

Lead effort to develop tangible and measurable social media assets that help partners garner exponential ROI

Manage social strategies around other key assets for official partners including fan engagement, B2B programs, etc.

Drive partner activation and creative concepts, utilizing social media to advance partners’ business with focus on NASCAR marketing calendar

Develop best practice case studies to share with official partners, clearly outlining how best to leverage social media within NASCAR’s ecosystem

Training and educating all partners on social media best practices and successful case studies

Closely track emerging trends, tools, platforms in social / digital; train and educate industry colleagues on social media best practices

Work with partners to develop branded content that can help deliver value across all mediums with particular focus on social



Non-traditional work week, including nights and weekends. 30% travel may be required, including some weekends.

Required Skills/Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four (4) year college or university and eight (8) to ten (10) years of current experience in social media, engagement and partner management.



Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of social media content management and reporting platforms

Proven track record of creative and innovative thinking especially in the social space

Passion for digital and social media and using those disciplines to advance business goals

Experience managing partner relationships and proactively ideating around social and digital activations

Experience working with sports and entertainment properties preferred

Working knowledge of NASCAR preferred
