Job Description
We’re seeking a UI/UX Director to join our small team of talented folks located in Redwood Shores. The ideal candidate comes with the understanding that a world-class user interface is a fundamental part of bringing amazing experiences to our players and grasps the challenges and opportunities that are part of creating dynamic, reactive, and appealing UI/UX for mobile games. The UI/UX Director will play a key leadership role and will be responsible for building and creating the experience for one of the world’s most popular gaming franchises.

Responsibilities
Lead a team of UI designers/artists to the delivery of a world-class user interface, contributing leadership and outstanding individual work to the effort.
Partner with production leaders to understand the overall goals for our user experience.
Collaborate with the Art Director to establish style, quality, and workflow requirements for the UI discipline.
Create a style guide and conduct presentations/training sessions and to spread the knowledge of how we want our experiences to look and feel.
Drive assigned tasks through each stage of production: concept, wireframe, prototype, implementation, and refinement through to final sign-off.
Iterate designs according to work reviews, changing requirements, and user playtest feedback.
Build a culture of close collaboration between engineering, design, and the UI designers/artists.
Grow the skills and careers of the UI designers and artists.
Requirements
A passion for playing and making great games!
Technical/Hands-on experience building interfaces in-game (with Unity/NGUI, preferably).
Proven track-record designing/implementing/leading UI efforts for mobile/social titles.
Strong understanding + experience applying UX/human-computer interaction concepts.
Outstanding skills in designing interaction and visuals for software.
Exceptional visual communication skills.
Expert-level knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
