Job Description
Duties
The Director of Marketing will lead the marketing function for Fujitsu Semiconductor America, Inc. (FSA) including technical and product marketing as well as marketing communications. Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
Parner with executive staff to develop and continuously improve the FSA go-to-market strategy in alignment with FSA's goals.
Wafer foundry marketing - determine end markets, identify target customers, define design IP requirements and create marketing collateral.
IP sourcing and identification - support efforts to identify and obtain key IP in order to enhance the sales potential of MIFS foundry activities.
New business development - support FSA's efforts to develop new lines of business.
Utilize market research and other sources to determine market size and support decision making.
Long range forecasting.
Marketing communication - create product collateral, maintain corporate website and interface with industry analysts.
Corporate communications - manage external messaging and positioning of FSA to industry, technology partners, suppliers and customers through the delivery of an integrated marketing strategy and implementation of a strategic plan. Execute to that plan by modifying tactics as necessary. Publish press releases, coordinate branding activities, maintain corporate website, interface with industry analysts. Define and drive development of all collateral for customers and internal consumption.
Internal communications - communicate effectively with headquarters regarding marketing and sales opportunities and positioning.
Primary Location
CA-Sunnyvale
BA/BS in Engineering, Business or a related field.
MA/MBA desirable.
15+ years of technical and business experience in the semiconductor industry with a minimum of 10+ years in technical marketing and marketing communications of increasing levels of responsibility.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience managing the marketing function and managing and leading people.
Proven thought leadership and people leadership skills.
Written and verbal communication skills.
Analytical ability.
