Responsibilities
The Director Integrated Marketing for Wireless oversees and executes all aspects of multiple marketing programs, strategy, tactics and objectives The Director partners and influences a number of internal partners, including Product Marketing, Sales, Media, Corporate Marketing, Field and Channel Marketing, Segment , B2B, and Corporate Communications and Digital teams to ensure an end-to-end coordinated strategy is executed that meets business objectives. She/He will be responsible for multiple projects simultaneously.
This Director Integrated Marketing - Wireless will work closely with the Wireless organization to ensure successful strategic execution of the responsibilities of the IMT. This role will lead the design of integrated marketing strategies, processes and plans related to launches and products as the IMT collaborates with New Products, Wireless, Cultural Marketing, CMO teams, and Business Units.
Central point of contact for wireless business unit on all elements of marketing communications. Directs and leads the process for integrated wireless marketing plans from concept stage to finalization on all creative and communications elements designed to meet/exceed growth and revenue targets for the wireless business unit
Use superior project management capabilities to liaise between the CMO Marketing teams, BUs and the Product organization
Creates a cohesive integrated marketing plan to ensure projects are on time, on budget, and are evaluated for ROI
Lead tight communication process to ensure all stakeholders are engaged and informed
Partner with, strongly influence and drive actions across a variety of stakeholder groups to ensure all are engaged
Direct CMO Marketing team on key strategic wireless priorities and linkage to business results
Maintain current knowledge of industry issues, trends, the changing competitive landscape, and best practices
Drive the direction of strategic briefs to deliver insight and purpose to our internal and external partners that will produce thoughtful, deliberate creative that delivers the desired value proposition
Develop, direct and coach 5 Marketing department staff
Qualifications
BA BS in Marketing
10+ years industry experience
5+ years marketing
2+ years in a Director role
Proven ability to implement, support, and track multiple programs under strict timelines
To succeed in this position, the IM Director will be self-motivated, have a solid understanding of marketing strategies, processes and standard marketing activities (awareness, engagement, enablement, and measurement).
Ability to respond effectively to conflicting priories and articulate logical and persuasive arguments across the organization when responding to conflicting priorities.
Continuously prioritizes and reprioritizes deliverables and responds to unexpected changes
Demonstrated ability to work with Senior Executives and Project Team members to define scope, strategy, requirements, risks, resources and implementation of individual projects and or projects as part of the broader program
Solid understanding of project management including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, develop detailed work plans and specifications.
High energy, self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills
Proven execution and project management experience
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Effective presentation development and delivery a must
