Job description
Seeking a strong financial leader to partner with the president of a $2B business unit for the next phase of growth, post-acquisition. The position will need to focus on strategic planning, financial modeling, accounting, and FP&A. This individual will be responsible for all aspects of operational finance including:
Maintain and expand a strong control environment

Forward-looking financial analysis to anticipate and capitalize on changes in the marketplace
Work with the senior management team to effectively define and measure the financial goals to ensure the achievement of short-term and long-term business unit and corporate objectives
Proactively manage and review actual, budgeted, and forecasted financials monthly, quarterly, and annually to measure goal attainment
Support the business by developing decision-support tools to appropriately weigh opportunities by balancing risk-reward metrics


In addition, the successful candidate should be able to:
Lead change creatively from a business as well as financial perspective
Be a strategic advisor and “sounding board” for senior management, sales team members, and other colleagues
Set the controls and operational tone for a team of 30+ staff in a variety of locations
Understand the nuances of the FED/SLED marketplace and relevant procurement regulations

Qualifications
15 + years of progressive experience
Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Finance/Accounting/Economics
CPA
MBA strongly desired
Active government security clearance a plus
Previous industry experience in the resale of hardware and software a plus
