Job Description
Responsible for the management of services and resources that support core business of mindSHIFT. Ensures that mindSHIFT has the most suitable working environment for its employees and their activities. Focus is to utilize best business practices in improving efficiency, reducing operating costs, and increase productivity.
* Identify and procure effective contractual services to repair and maintain office equipment and facility environments.
* Ensure building and grounds are maintained, which entails daily and weekly cleaning schedules as well as determining and scheduling repairs, renovation projects, waste reduction improvements and safety inspections.
* Develop and present to management space and construction plans to accommodate growth needs.
* Plan upgrades to facility to provide safe, healthful and productive work environment to support business needs
* Adhere to and maintain building code requirements
* Manage HVAC systems, office and datacenter.
* Plan and implement maintenance programs to keep equipment in like new condition at least cost. Maintain accurate records of maintenance repairs and analyze to prevent recurrences.
* Manage corporate security systems.
* Manage Fire Prevention systems, office and datacenter regarding maintenance schedules and/or service related calls.
* Effectively communicate with various business units to resolve problems and provide solutions.
* Continually review building/office contracts, interview new potential vendors, make recommendations to management to revise existing contracts for cost savings.
* 5+ years of corporate facility management experience.
* 5-7 years in support enterprise level Datacenter Operations services.
* Experience supervising contractual building resources
* Bachelor's Degree Preferred or Facility certifications.
